Sample Senior Projects
5-Track EP
Following is the Senior Project of Jay Newsome, II. Included for your consideration are the CD product details, including the printed CD itself and the four-panel housed inside the CD jewel case, sound clips from two of the five tracks, and one page from the lead sheets for the aforementioned two sound clips. While there have been quite a few very high-quality EP submissions of late, the Music Business Committee suggests that this Senior Project is a representative example of high quality work in nearly all of the areas that are considered by the committee for the final grade of a 5-track EP project (see EP Rubric). If you are considering a 5-track EP for your Senior Project, you should aspire to the high standards revealed in this example regarding performance, sound quality, arranging, and music notation among others aspects.
