Meet our next spotlight, Mary Nerren! Mary is a senior Piano Performance major from Johnson City, Tennessee. She has been involved in several ensembles, including Lee Singers, Wind Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra. Over the next month, we’ll get to know a little more about her.
First, we asked her what drew her to Lee. She said, “My grandfather taught at Lee for several years and spoke very highly about the school, so I have known about it from a young age. I came to the International Piano Competition and Festival when I was a Junior in high school, and after interacting with the piano faculty and experiencing life on campus, I knew I wanted to apply!”
